Work that holds up. Words that back it.
As a General Contractor and builder of custom homes, I can only say that one of the most difficult aspects of my job is finding great sub-contractors. I have used Leading Edge Excavation on my last 4 custom homes and Dave and his crew have made my job that much easier. Building in the mountains, here in Colorado, is sometimes not an easy task. Two of the homes were on solid granite so we had to blast out the hillside for part of the footers and the foundation walls and Paul, his Field Operation's Manager was able to get everything done. One of the projects had dozens of trees that needed to be removed and a 250-foot-long boulder retaining wall that supported the driveway and the home sight, and removed all the trees, cut and stacked them for the homeowner and the retaining wall still gets many compliments. I would have no problem recommending Leading Edge Excavation for many aspects of excavation and you can include septic and leech field installation as well. I put them to the test by giving them a number of different tasks t do on each project and each time they came through with flying colors and as I mentioned, that makes my job that much easier. Great work, great people!

The owner, Dave Doxtator, is the BEST! After spending an inordinate amount of time trying to find someone/anyone to install my septic system to no avail, my grandson recommended Dave and he promptly contacted me and worked diligently with me throughout the whole process, including some unforeseen difficulties with the geologic engineer's initial site plan, which became unfeasible due to excessive blasting too close to the cabin. We had to go to "Plan B" (a holding tank versus an septic tank and field) and Dave was unfazed by the change in the plans and proceeded to get the job done and, as a bonus, cut down the large pine trees which had to be removed, cut them into fireplace size logs and stacked them (WOW). He also took the large rocks from the blasting for the holding tank and arranged them beautifully on my property facing the road and landscaped the area where the holding tank was installed. Dave also put in a new culvert for me and my neighbor. Dave is conscientious and meticulous and does a wonderful job at a fair price. If I could give Leading Edge Excavation 10 stars, I would have.
