OUR STORY
It all started 3 decades ago when our founder, Dave, took a trip out to Colorado to go skiiing. He loved it so much that he made a bold decision- ditch his tele-com career and stay for awhile. With little more than a pedal bike, a supportive girlfriend, and a baby on the way, Dave knew he needed to get to work FAST.
Known for saying," If you are going to do something, go all in. DO IT and do it RIGHT," Dave dove head first , and started digging holes. What began as a way to make ends meet, soon grew into passion, and that passion turned into what is now Leading Edge Excavation.
Fast forward a few years, Dave is still working side by side with his supportive girlfriend (now wife) and son. That decision to dig holes has turned Leading Edge into one of Colorado's leading excavation contractors. Despite having grown over the past 30 years, those values of DO IT, and do it RIGHT, are still something we bring to every job.
